Josh Schmid was out to a hot start to 2020, breaking the Marion Indoor record in shot put with a throw of 55′ 7.5″ at the SIU Indoor on February 21st, 2020.
In 2019, Josh finished in third-place at State Finals in Discus and ninth-place in shot put.
The all-stater has already signed to compete at Illinois State University beginning in 2020-2021.
