CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — The Carbondale Splash Park will not be opening this summer.
The Carbondale Park District, which operates the facility, says they’re concerned about the possible spread of COVID-19 in the in areas like changing rooms, restrooms, slides, and pool chairs.
They add it would be nearly impossible to maintain social distancing, especially with children.
