The Golden Aces will serve as a provisional member for this coming school year before becoming a full-fledged member in 2021-2022.
“We are extremely excited to accept the invitation to join the Little Illini Conference,” says Aces Athletic Director Kyle Buss. “This helps us, and other LIC schools, in filling out schedules in a number of different sports… We look forward to working with the great people and communities of the Little Illini Conference for many years to come.”
Mt. Carmel’s full membership-status will come at the some time that Flora departs for the Black Diamond – where they are joining to replace Chester, who will be leaving for the Cahokia Conference’s new three-division, 18 team format.
