Thursday night the Herrin School Board approved the hire of Taylor Perry, making him their next head football coach and the third in as many years.
Perry served as offensive coordinator for the Tigers this past Spring when they went 3-2 in the shortened season. Perry replaces Rod Sherrill who served just one season as Tigers head coach and was in his second stint as Herrin Football Coach.
