WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – One teenager was killed, three more were injured after police say the stolen vehicle they were all traveling in crashed Monday morning near Marion.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies rushed to the scene of the single vehicle crash on Cochran Road, south of Marion, around 6:30 a.m. Monday. The sheriff’s office says the vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree.
The teenage driver died of their injuries. Three teenage passengers were taken to hospitals with serious injuries.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle involved was stolen from a home in Johnston City, but haven’t released any other details.
