Former Saluki linebacker Dune Smith announced his commitment to Incarnate Word Friday.

Smith, who was a team captain for this year’s SIU Spring Game, played in all 13 games in the 2023-24 season. He was one of the team’s top tacklers with 64 total tackles, four sacks, and nine TFL.
The Salukis will see Smith and Incarnate Word when the Cardinals come to Carbondale on Saturday, September 14.
