The Stats Perform Top 25 preseason poll was released Monday.
The SIU Football team is ranked #10 in the country headed into the season.
Other Missouri Valley Football Conference ranked in the preseason Top 25:
- South Dakota State (#1)
- North Dakota State (#2)
- South Dakota (#5)
- Illinois State (#19)
- North Dakota (#24)
- Youngstown State (#25)
The Salukis host #2 North Dakota State, #14 Incarnate Word, #19 Illinois State, and #25 Youngstown State this year. They travel to #1 South Dakota State and #5 South Dakota.
SIU opens the season on the road at BYU on August 31.
