Two people face charges for Methamphetamine in Williamson County

CREAL SPRINGS (WJPF) – Two people are facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Creal Springs.

On September 30th around 11:30pm deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle after witnessing it commit traffic violations along Union Street.

The driver, Michelle Choate and the passenger Michael Mitchell were arrested after officers found a crystal-like substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Choate faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession Of Adult Use Cannabis In A Motor Vehicle, and Failure To Signal When Required.

Mitchell faces charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both were taken to the Williamson County Jail.
