At the end of the regular season, with #1 Chester falling to Waterloo, the Nashville Hornets ascend to the #1 ranking in the John A. Logan College Little Egypt Football Poll’s End of the Season Poll.
The Yellow Jackets lost to Waterloo 35-28 on Saturday and lost the #1 ranking as a result, taking the biggest slide of the week, down four spots.
Nashville leapfrogged Johnston City, despite the Indians garnering the most first place votes.
