MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – Additional charges are anticipated after the victim of a recent hit-and-run died of their injuries.
Jose Bautista, 44, had been in a St. Louis hospital for a week. He was injured November 27 while riding a bike on Skyline Drive in Marion.
The driver who struck Bautista, Guillermo “Henry” Lopez, fled the scene and was arrested a day later.
