A few area football coaches were named to the IHSFCA Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 on Tuesday.
Sesser-Valier head coach John Shadowens, who has 117 career wins, was the headliner for the Little Egypt region. Shadowens has coached SVW since 2001 but had a four year break between 2011 and 2015 seasons.
Centralia offensive coordinator Ray Kauling also was named to the Hall of Fame as an active coach.
Assistants from the region that are headed into the Hall of Fame include Anna-Jonesboro’s Michael Eudy and Harrisburg’s Greg Segraves.
