INA, Ill. (WJPF) – Two people are dead after a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 57 in Jefferson County.
The accident happened around 10:00 am Thursday near Ina. Three tractor trailers and an SUV were involved. Both fatalities were occupants of the SUV. Names of the victims have not been released.
The accident and cleanup snarled traffic on I-57 for several hours.
