Dibba began his career at Chicago State before playing two seasons at Abilene Christian. He spent one season at Southern Illinois.

Dibba starred for the Salukis this season with multiple 25+ point games. He averaged 17.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.5 steals.
Dibba joins Kennard Davis, Jr., Sheridan Sharp, Antwaun Massey, and Tyler Bey in the transfer portal – making it five SIU players from this past season in the portal.
