For the fourth week in a row, the Herrin Tigers remain atop the John A. Logan College SI Basketball Coaches Poll. The Tigers suffered their first loss of the year last Tuesday at Massac County but no one could remove them from their seat as #1 team in Southern Illinois.
The win over Herrin put a rocket on the Patriots’ back jumping them from #8 to #4 this week.
The Carterville Lions went from unranked last week to #5 after a win over Pinckneyville this past weekend.
The Vienna Eagles have been turning heads all season and have finally cracked the Top 10, debuting in Week 7 as the #8 team in the region.
