John A. Logan men’s basketball’s starting point guard, Caden Hawkins received a Division I offer on Monday.
The former Carterville Lions star received an offer from Western Illinois.
Hawkins slotted in as Logan’s starting point guard midway through the 2023-24 season.
He averaged 7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 48.4 percent from the field and 42.0 percent from the three-point line.
Former SIU and John A. Logan College assistant John Clancy is currently an assistant at Western Illinois.
