JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A man has been arrested for child pornography in Jefferson County.
On Friday December 13 around 8:00pm, deputies arrested 30 year old Christopher Richardson at his home in Woodlawn on a Jefferson County warrant charging Child Pornography and Unlawful Grooming.
The investigation was initiated back in September after members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a Cybertip of solicitation of a juvenile aged minor for nude pictures. The investigation resulted in multiple search warrants being obtained.
Richardson was taken to the Jefferson County Jail to await his pre-trial detention hearing.
