Sean Lloyd was named Missouri Valley Player of the Week on December 10, 2018 to serve as an exclamation mark to his and the Salukis’ offseason. The award was the first time a Saluki won Player of the Week since Anthony Beane, Jr. won it six times from 2014-2016.
Matt Varney talked with Lloyd about winning that award, his thoughts on the non-conference portion of the season, the toughest player he’s played against this season, and the guard being so far away from home in Philadelphia.
