A Night to Remember: The Golden Years Gala

Hosted by the Jackson County Housing Authority, GRO Community Counseling Agency, Carbondale United, and 618 Launchpad, this elegant afternoon honors the legacy, joy, and wisdom of our elder community members. It will bring together seniors from across the region—including those from assisted living facilities, churches, and individual households—for an afternoon of celebration, connection, and care.
The event will include:

· Live music, dancing, and a crowning ceremony
· Professional photography & keepsake moments
· Catered refreshments
· SIU student volunteers creating intergenerational connection
